Tom Baker is definitely the most recognizable 'OLD SCHOOL" Doctor. His is also my second favourite.

Frosty's view is pretty good! 1 1/2 hours into this one, but a migraine is coming so I pause for the night.

Heres the dilemma... Doctor Who was in black and white during the 1st and second Doctors eras. So heres a version of both. my dilemma is although its neat to have B&W, does it work (in a show) with all the others which are in colour?!

At least in the beginning! this is the end of my memory for this road... now I look at my photos and add some details and colour adjust. hopefully this one proves a bit more "personal" Im not going to change much on the  placement of things (unless im way off) so it should stand out as a different type of drawing for me.

...Meaning I have something today. It only took 2 hours which tells me, maybe I needed a break?! I dunno.

Ive been tinkering with this one and then nearly started over. If I can draw anyone, it better be her. This is from the Album launch where I met her. Its also my photo (always makes it nicer)

Update

So what's happened in the last few weeks since I last posted? ...I wish I could say a lot. It was one of those periods where I had a bout of bad luck. I somehow came down with chickenpox ...thats right chickenpox! The funny (weird) part is this was the second time I caught it. I had a bad case when i was a child, so its very rare that I would get them again, and really bad timing that I would catch them right after arriving in another continent, all by myself. Today is the first day in well over 2 weeks where I not only feel better about my appearance, but feel better physically too. I am about to hit the pavement and try and find work tomorrow. I tried drawing yesterday but it didnt really pan out, so Im going to try again after this and either see if I can fix yesterday's, or start a new drawing all together.

More to come, now that I'm on the mend and in better spirits.

Alyssa loves the pic, and we've agreed on this for the type and cover final. I must say it was a very fun project to do, and Im quite happy with it! She is putting it up on Amazon this weekend so maybe more people will see my art (fingers crossed)
